Queso Canyon

Hi there folks,
        This is my first time writing a blog or walkthrough for mousehunt. Here i am going to deal with Queso canyon region, the new area.  Hope it helps for the new hunters!!
          Queso Canyon is made up of three areas:

1.  Queso River -Law
2.  Prickly Plains -Arcane
3.  Canterra Quarry - Shadow

        First we start with the river, with a law trap, hope it is meteor prison core trap, and strongest base, probably your minotaur base. Now the cheese will be Gouda/Brie or SB. Super Brie, as usual, will hasten your process for sure, and it attracts the sleepy merchant which drops 5 bland quesos per hunt. So it is upto you to decide which to use for the process. I will suggest SB, but mind you, the returns will not be that great, especially if you buy SB from the market place. You will also get wild tonic and some charms, so keep your tonic safely for now. 

       

         The idea is to upgrade the pump. Initially, it will look faster, and the amount of bland quesos wont increase much, but gather some bland quesos, say 30-40, and craft mild queso. Use SB for crafting as much as possible, as the amount of cheese doubles. Initially, skip plains, and go to quarry, and upgrade the first two levels. Then come back, gather more queso, and hunt in plains, and get medium queso. Medium queso will be helpful in quarry after you upgrade your pump to level 4 and above. At higher levels, you will start gathering hot quesos, so make sure you upgrade as and when you can. 

 

         When the time comes to use hot queso, try to use it in quarry, and each grampa golem mouse gives 50 nachores. Use it with your saved wild tonic, and you will be able to upgrade your 7 and 8 pumps as fast as you can.  Please dont use wild tonic at plains till you upgrade. Also using it in River also is not that valuable, taking into account the price of wild tonic and SB at the market place. 

        After upgrading to level 8 pump, you will be able to gather bland quesos faster, and now at this point, use hot quesos which you crafted and use it in plains. Try to use wild tonic if available, so that you will be able to craft more flaming quesos. At this moment, you will be tempted to catch the boss mice and complete your activity, but what i will suggest is continue upgrading with flaming quesos, and try to use it to gather more nachores from the boss of the quarry. Aim for Nachous the molten, and dont forget to use wild tonic. Each mouse gives 100 nachores at the minimum, so you will be able to get to level 9 faster. You can catch one inferna if you like, but use the remaining to catch nachous first. Also, here is the level of boss mice- Nachous<Inferna < Queen Quesada. 

 

         Now after gathering it to level 9, see if you can afford and get the overstone ember base. This base is absolutely useful, but only in the river. please dont use it in plains and quarry if you are having the lovely mino base, or even denture base, if you have lot of tooth. As for the charms, try arming ultimate lucky power charm and you will definitely see the difference. 

         Now hunt in River, Try gathering more quesos, and complete your level 10 pump. Queso pump charm will double your pump, super queso triples the batch. That is, if you get some charms from map or market place, but not of absolute necessity. 

        Once you are done with level 10, you will be able to gather cheese faster. The maximum bland queso that can be gathered per hunt is 1000. (Lvl 10 with OESB, wild tonic and super queso pump charm or 1005 if it is sleepy merchant). Now aim for inferna and nachous gather 10 or 20 of each stone and root-drop rates vary, maximum stones i got from nachous per hunt is 5, and usually root drop is lesser say 1 or 2. Gather them, collect 25000 bq, and aim for queen. Queen is little tougher compared to inferna and nachous, so if you are in a hurry or in a map, try arming ultimate charms if you have or definitely required. Otherwise other ultimate charms will help you for sure. Aim for 15 gadgets, and try for the ember prison core trap. Other traps, if you have stronger versions are just for collection. I am still hunting for the trap, and unstable gadget can be poked, which needs to be found out.  Just a small hint-Nachous drops 100 nachores minimum, Grampa golem-50, nachore golem-25. Try catching more of these when you are upgrading, but get ready for fiery crusher when you aim for grampa golem, as it will irritate you a lot, without dropping anything and wasting your cheese.  And dont forget to arm the overstone ember base when you are in river, as it increases your pump's efficiency by 50%.  As for Wild Tonic, it is of uber use with Nachous, and Grampa golem, and of great use in gathering flaming leaf. It is of meagre use when you hunt inferna or the queen, as it doesnot increase the roots or gadgets.
